Kitsap Arts & Crafts Scholarship Awards
Two of the 2010 scholarship winners: Sierra Moon (left) and Madeline Trower
Since 1975, Kitsap Arts & Crafts has awarded 181 scholarships to local youths to help further their arts education. Our program gives $2,000 annual scholarships with three additional renewals, if grades are maintained and the students continue their art studies. This year we will be giving $14,000 thanks to the success of our festival, contributions of our sponsors, and the dedication of our volunteers. Five continuing scholarships for 2010 have already been awarded. For additional information about the scholarship program, please contact Norma Titus, (360)297-2913 or email wntitus@centurytel.net.
